I am a journalist whose work has appeared in The Valdosta Daily Times, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, The Village Voice, The Queens Tribune and on WAMC/Northeast Public Radio.

I have also produced multimedia projects for nyc24.com and the Columbia News21 project, sponsored by Carnegie and Knight foundations.

In 2002, I taught English in Seoul, South Korea. I received a B.A. in sociology from the University of Georgia and an M.S. from The Journalism School.

I am now a New Media Fellow at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
